Why do you hide
under Father's robe?
Father hath hidden thee
behind fancy linen
which doth soothe with familiarity
and mystery
yet only on the surface

Because I see that it is shallow
to stand in his shadow
How long can you keep your feet with his,
so that you forbid to be exposed in the light?
For the light doth shine,
on every angle

You trust Father
more than your own eyes
Did he take the words from thee
so that you can not read for yourself?

Again,
a child doth hide
under daddy's robe
because of his fancy linen,
and the mysterious beauty

He stole the book from your heart
and pacified your eyes
with fancy linen
