Something so urban
It swelters under the sun
It walks with a jive talk
He say what my man?

Something so urban
It is the bare arm
Flexed over the radio
And the beat of the Amazon
Gushing out from the delta
Your speakers

Something so urban
The buildings stand like solar panels
In a city-wide reactor
And every turnstile
Is a transistor

Something so urban
Bare feet and pavement
Speak the same language
And spare change provides all the intimacy
Of hand to hand melting pot luck

i tried to comment on this a couple of days ago but it didn't save! ah well. i like this one. i was gonna congratulate you on such a nice juxtaposition between the two jungles, but then lisafer told me i was a nerdy english major type, so i decided against that. even if i do think so.

brilliant, my dear boy!
