Doubt will leave you stranded
like all love lost
Doubt will make you a stranger
in your own home
Doubt is not a promise
only a threat
Doubt is a hallucinogen
that has been weaponized
Doubt is the torment
of a heavy soul

The poison
of a damned soul
The bitterness
that pangs an empty soul
For there were many who hungered
But doubt is the thief
who pulled the chair
at the grand feast
