Yo, I am at school today. I am just all disturbed over my grades in precalculus. I can't believe that my grades are getting worse and worse--it's my second time taking the same class! Is there any explantion to how a person could take a class the first time, never do the homework, and go into the final with an A (I did bomb the final and ended up with a B), and then take the class a second time just to brush up on skills, do all of the homework and get grades dropping into the C range? Is this possible? My grade right now is a B, right at 80% tho. My test scores are getting worse--I can't believe this--86, 79, then 75. I am baffled. I used to be a math wiz who received 2 "Student of the Semester" awards since I started school at Perimeter College. I do have a theory--as I always do for strange phenomenom. I recognize that I am a fast, and good learner when it comes to learning something NEW. When something is new to me, I grasp hold of it and figure it out. But I suppose that if it is old stuff, I just can't be completly alert and my senses become dull to the "tired" material. Still tho, it seems that I should be doing better, just because practice makes you better. I do have another explantion as to why I am not doing as well in this math class as appposed to math classes in the past, but I have to go to US History, so more about that later. Peace.
