It took a lot of convincing but I went to the rock & roll show that Molly and Star wanted me to go to tonight. Rock and Roll music jus rubs me the wrong way, sorry. I call it 'rock and roll' because it's a nice way fer me to categorize all the music that I don't like in the whole world (which is only modern rock) into one easy term which signifies how indifferent I am to it. I say it as if I was still from the 50s talking about......what's this newfangled rock and roll nonsense?
Rock and Roll dude--whatever. Rock and Roll, Rock and Roll, Rock and Roll.....blah. A guitar riff gives me the same feeling as a three day old campsite, where the smoke keeps smoldering and follows me around, all blowing up in my face, my nose, me eyes. My back is aching because I slept on a protruding tree root the night before. I am hungry and I want to take a shower. What the funk. Modern rock IS that tired song that keeps playing on the radio. And people say that my music is repetitive.

So what type of music do I like? I like the kinda music that makes old people want to beat down your door talking about.....what is that stuff!....turn it down!.......turn it off!!!!....I can't take it. It just freaks 'em out. It strikes them immediately and they get this feeling deep in their gut that something is wrong, very wrong. Not that it's vulgur, but it's just this incredible noise all nestled up in your ear, and it's bangin. I just like that noise off in your ear, you know what I mean?.....hehehehe.....ok ok I am having a little bit-o-fun with this. Besides the music (tribal house, jungle, hard house) which is like torture on ears born before technology made a sound, and before technology came along and "confused" life, I am very cultured. I listen to and appreciate every single form of music that you can imagine. So boo.

To be fair, I want to mention that I do absolutely love some rock groups. Namely Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumkins, Rage Against The Machine, Deftones, Alice In Chains, and Beck. I also like Linkin Park (profanity free metal/rap-----much props fer doing that), Stone Temple Pilots, Blur, Korn, 311 and a few others. No Doubt is one of my favorite groups of all time too!!!! They are amazing. Ahhh, Gwen!!!!!!

Now I'd like to take this moment to say that I love Molly and Star, and I am so grateful to have their friendships. Recently I have really felt the love from my circle of friends and it's very cool because it makes me feel special and it makes me feel like I belong. Feeling special is magical. Indeed, if someone makes you feel special, you will never ever forget it fer the rest of your entire life. And since this is an open love fest, I'd also like to note that I have seen me and Molly's friendship in a new light and it is refreshing, and I am looking forward to helping it grow again. I have so much to be thankful for right now, because I am also growing new friendships which will carry me beyond the places I have been, and will be the most fulfilling yet. I am heading toward this place-----ahhhh it's lovely. This is a bonafide ramble. It's ramblicious. Yo, I am a happy little camper right now. Marinate on that fer a little bit, I'm out.
