I am so thankful to be born to my parents. I feel as tho I should be jumping up and down as if I had won the lottery; so lucky I feel that I was born to my parents. They are choice parents indeed. Odds are I would have a better chance of winning the lottery, than ending up with a set of parents as spiritually strong as mine. But yet, lottery payoffs are dwarfed by the great treasure of knowing where to find the answers to life's questions--my questions.

Again I am thankful to live near Atlanta, where the weather is moderate and affords us all four seasons. The rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains provide quite the backdrop for skyscrappers and office building poking out here and there. The lush green forests seem to overpower the landscape, roadways and hills between the protruding structures. It's neat. Most people love the fall, because the change in color of the leaves provides an intricate spectacle, but I prefer the view during the summer when the trees are bright green and swarming with intensity.

Atlanta is cool, the people are cool, the economy is in good shape, the city is growing, things are becoming nicer and nicer, new businesses are moving in all of the time--this opens up oppourtunites and I think it's exciting. I think that the state of Georgia in general is great also. On the east coast, with access to the ocean. How cool.

I'm happy to be in the south, where I was born and raised, where southern charm can be intoxicating, and I am surrounded by people of the same speed as me. My most favorite thing about the south is it's all about being humble; it goes with the territory--it is the way of life.

I am so thankful to Live in the U.S.--wow--what a lucky place to be born! The U.S. is doin it, and doin it well. Everything is happening here, and it's all happening now. Thas exciting to me. We try our best to be the best, and sheesh, we rock. No one can deny the oppourtunities afforded by living inside these boundary lines, and the technology and access to luxury items (like computers) we have. High speed internet access--I'll take it. Running water, electricity, adequete transportation, thriving culture, thriving music, thriving technology, thriving civil liberties, thriving sports talent, thriving commercial competition giving me the lowest price possible--I'll take it!

And I am grateful to be in the northern hemisphere--I like it round these parts. I also appreciate the fact that I am on the earth at this time, where we have so much nice stuff like all of the things I mentioned above, aslo includiing the availability of food. Food is like everywhere because we have refridgerators and microwaves--it's so convenient. Food in a can. Back in the day life was all about finding something to eat, now we have plenty of time to other stuff--cool. Now we have the 'net, a place where I can piddle, find everything I want (and for the lowest price), make friends in Russia, talk to people as they see my face and I theirs on the webcam.
So, I have a lot to be grateful for.
