InTown Suites
3 levels up
with 6 lanes of backdrop
6 lanes of free ways
Let me be my own way

Massive freight and trucks
crunching the pavement
The soundtrack to freedom
because of

A wind storm
searches for nooks and crannies
and dares to sweep me off my feet
and make a mold of my body
with its hard pressing
and unscrupulous greetings

But walking up the breezeway
was like foraging a path
and spontaneously stopping
to grip the railing again
in the spot I always do

To stare out into the unordered rhythm
of madness
of ongoing traffic
thru the night

Feeling so alive
to behold the stream of noise
and disorder
running congruent
with time and wind

And joining hands
with me,
a friend in solitude
