"Another Turkish player went down moments later, and the whistles and shrieks from the crowd reached earsplitting levels whenever the Americans had the ball thereafter."
"This is part of the game. I think it was the right answer from the fans, and they'll see it in Greece, too," Turkey center Mehmet Okur said. "It's much different in Europe. It's not like the NBA."
----And you're proud of what? Should we cheer when an opponent goes down, and boo the other team for unavoidable fouls. Are you proud to play without class?
Do you teach me something new. Something different, that an American wouldn't understand? Or do you make light, of gracious manners that propels one towards excellence? For if we were creatures without class, I could not be proud, to look on a sport more destitute than the rough edge you sympathize. It would be ugly, more so than you now know.
