You should see what love can do for a man
It can make his passions alive
Everything an artful expression
In bloom
If he holds your picture
It is a warming stone
He carries with him
And a place
He can sup
And rest
In some corner
In his fragile heart

He will be in tears over you
His subconscious will weep
When he is not looking
And when you're not looking
Or when you are sleeping
He will scale the ivy tower
For a peak of you through the window
Don't be shy
Or embarrassed
When he discovers
The nakedness of your soul

Instead give him the diary
Of your heart
That he might compose some verses
For if ever he is lost
And some doubts may threaten his course
He can look through your window
And find his own anchors
Placed like periods
Throughout the book of your life
