Some people are about to go out of their minds
Many have prayed an honorable prayer
And the churches promise to have service again
But you must bring your own chair
For those who are left behind
We will continue to search
For any saving graces
While we wait for the buses

The water carried illnesses
That spread like the hallucinations
Of starved mad men
Left out in the marshy parishes
To perish
And when it became airborne
Even the choppers had to duck down
While we're still waiting
A man leaves and returns again
And we're still looking
For a change of course
