What is you favorite animal?? Now that you have thought this to yerself, tell me why. Specifically, gimmie exactly 3 reasons or characteristics why this animal is your favorite. Done? No, well go ahead and do it. k.

Now those 3 qualities that came to your mind are 3 ways that you actually feel about yourself. Probably 3 things that you like about yerself. It is interesting how it is truly up to a person to identify within an animal, or even other people, the very qualities that we see within ourselves. It's cool.

Anyway, when I first answered this question to one of my friends long ago, I said cats, and I said it was because they are nice, independent, and I can't remember if the third reason was because they are smart or curious, but all the same I found it so insightful, and yet somehow surprising how much we reveal about ourselves unknowingly. If one were aware of this good measure of our attitudes projected onto the animals we admire, one could trace the line of admirations back to the individual and get some great insights into that person. Oh wow, that sounds like fun to me! Umm, yes, it is true that you can never stop being you, and everything you do is a reflection of you. It even comes out in ur handwriting.

A related topic which isn't so cheery is on the topic of seeing things in others that we see in ourselves. I have noticed on a few occasions to which I was completely unaware until the final realization came, that I disliked someone, or something about someone, because of something that I saw within that person which was actually something that I hated about myself. In short, sometimes the things that we despise most about other people are the things that we hate most about ourselves. I didn't invent this theory, but I did arrive at it on my own. I think that it is often true. Anyways peace out.
