If you can choose what you want to believe can you choose what is true? Let's see. If at first you choose what you wish to believe and you fasten such views to your life, and you strengthen them by listening to and empathizing with the same message again, then you will be able to look back on those very experiences later after they have past, for direction. In essence, you are a captain of a ship and you are sterring it wither-so-wherever you choose. Soon you will say....Ah I know this course, this is the way....
But that is just considering the present tense; the here and now. If you could zoom out and look at the bigger course that employs your navigation, you might see that possibly you have been sailing in one great big circle, just because you have strayed just slightly off the preferred course, and over time those few degrees have caused you to do circle 8s around the mark, just missing it.
